The waters

The Philippine Deep—the world’s second deepest ocean trench—is merely a few kilometers offshore from General Luna.

What you can catch

Get out on the water and try your luck at catching tuna, sailfish, blue marlin, mahi-mahi, and barracuda—among many other species in the area.

The tournament

The International Game Fishing Tournament is held every April in the municipality of Pilar.
